About Us

Johan Reinhoudt is President and CEO of Collaborative Primacy™ Life Sciences Consulting (CPLS Consulting).

He is a practical business visionary with more than 20 years of experience in international clinical drug development and operations with demonstrated success in executive leadership roles, working for the life sciences industry in the Netherlands, France, Germany and the United States. 

Johan has worked in academic pharmacological research, for contract research organizations (Phase-I, Medical Device) and for the sponsor biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry, supporting both European and US (IND, IDE, NDA, BLA, 510-K, PMA) registration submissions.

Johan is based in the U.S. and consults with organizations internationally. 

CPLS Consulting works with small and medium sized life sciences enterprise clients engaged in the formation of collaborations and partnerships, mainly with large, established biotechnology, medical device, pharmaceutical companies, academic research centers and contract research organizations.

A graduate of the University of Leiden, the Netherlands (B.Sc. in Anesthesiology), Johan is certified in General Management by the INSEAD-CEDEP business school in Fontainebleau, France and by the Institute of Social Sciences in Utrecht, the Netherlands. He is also certified in Executive Coaching (CMC) by the Behavioral Coaching Institute in New York, NY.
